A complete mineral processing production line typically encompasses multiple stages, including crushing, screening, grinding, classification, separation, dewatering, and auxiliary equipment. Each stage's equipment works in synergy to achieve efficient ore processing and concentrate extraction. Below are the specific equipment and their functions:

Crushing Equipment

  • Jaw Crusher: As the primary crushing equipment, it is used to break large pieces of ore into medium-sized particles, preparing them for subsequent crushing operations.
  • Cone Crusher: Suitable for medium and fine crushing operations, it efficiently further breaks medium-sized ore particles into smaller ones.
  • Impact Crusher: Applicable for crushing medium-hard and brittle materials, it offers advantages such as a large crushing ratio and uniform product particle size.
  • Hammer Crusher: Utilizes high-speed rotating hammers on a rotor to impact and break materials, suitable for medium and fine crushing, especially for brittle materials.
  • Roll Crusher: Uses two oppositely rotating rolls to squeeze and break materials, suitable for medium and fine crushing, particularly effective for sticky materials.

Screening Equipment

  • Vibrating Screen: Through vibration, it classifies crushed ore according to particle size, ensuring uniform particle size for the ore entering the next process stage.
  • Circular Vibrating Screen: Also possesses screening functionality but differs slightly in structure and working principle, suitable for screening ores of different particle sizes and properties.

Grinding Equipment

  • Ball Mill: A key equipment for further pulverizing ore after it has been crushed. It is widely used in industries such as cement, silicate products, new building materials, refractory materials, fertilizers, non-ferrous and ferrous metal ore dressing, and glass ceramics, for dry or wet grinding of various ores and other grindable materials.
  • Rod Mill: Uses metal rods as grinding media. Due to its selective grinding action, it produces uniformly sized products and is mostly used in gravity concentration plants.

Classification Equipment

  • Spiral Classifier: Based on the principle that solid particles with different specific gravities settle at different speeds in a liquid, it washes and classifies ore mixtures.
  • Hydrocyclone: Utilizes fluid mechanics principles to classify materials, offering advantages such as good classification efficiency, a small footprint, and low energy consumption.

Separation Equipment

  • Magnetic Separator: Separates magnetic minerals from non-magnetic minerals based on differences in mineral magnetism. It is primarily used for separating ferrous metal ores (iron, manganese, chromium) and also for separating non-ferrous and rare metal ores.
  • Flotation Machine: Suitable for separating non-ferrous and ferrous metals, as well as non-metals such as coal, fluorite, and talc. It utilizes differences in the physicochemical properties of mineral surfaces to attach mineral particles to bubbles and float them to the water surface, achieving separation from gangue.
  • Gravity Separator: Uses density differences between minerals for separation, suitable for processing certain special types of ores.
  • Shaking Table: By adjusting the inclination angle and vibration frequency of the table surface, it separates minerals of different densities on the table surface, suitable for processing fine-grained ores.
  • Spiral Chute: Utilizes different settling velocities of materials under gravity for separation, suitable for processing fine-grained ores.

Dewatering Equipment

  • Thickener: Through gravitational settling, it initially removes excess water from concentrate.
  • Filter Press: Uses mechanical pressure to further squeeze water out of concentrate, yielding concentrate products with lower water content.
  • Vacuum Filter: Removes water from concentrate through vacuum suction, also achieving good dewatering effects.

Auxiliary Equipment

  • Feeder: Responsible for uniformly and continuously feeding raw materials into crushers, grinding mills, or other equipment.
  • Conveyor: Connects various production stages to achieve continuous material transportation.
  • Pump: Used for transporting and circulating ore slurry.
  • Blower: Provides the required air volume for certain equipment, such as flotation machines.
  • Dust Collection Equipment: Reduces dust pollution during the production process to protect the environment.
