Based on the number of screw shafts,the spiral classifier can be divided into two classes:single and double screw.
The spiral class ifier can be divided into high weir, low weir andimmersed-type spiral class ifier based on the height of overflow weir.
The high we ir is suitable for coarse grain class ification with some depressed area, is capable of obtaining granularity over 100 mesh.
The low weir: The desliming area is small and overflow capability is low. Usually used on washing sand and desliming.
The immersed-type spiral class ifier is suitable for the fine granule class ification capable of obtaining overflow granularity less than 100 screens for the great depressed area and depth.

Working principle
The spiral classifier filters according to the gravity and falling speed of different particles. The fine particles floating in the water will be discharged from the upper part, and the coarse particles will sink to the bottom of the tank, and then the spiral blades will rotate the coarse particles to the feeding part to continue processing until reaching the ideal granularity.

The spiral classifier is mainly composed of a motor, a spiral blade, a spiral shaft, a tank body, a lifting mechanism, and a high wear-resistant liner.
