Project Background: The ore mineral composition is relatively simple, mainly consisting of fluorite, quartz, and calcite. The main chemical components are CaF2 and SiO2. The CaF2 content ranges from 28.30% to 87.49%, with an average content of 58.19%. The SiO2 content ranges from 8.18% to 65.38%, generally between 25% and 38%, with an average content of 34.11%. The CaF2 and SiO2 content show an inverse relationship, and their combined content accounts for 92-95%.
Beneficiation Process:
Crushing and Screening Stage: Coarse crushing uses a jaw crusher, fine crushing uses a cone crusher, and screening uses a circular vibrating screen. The crushed product particle size is -15mm.
Grinding and Classification Stage: Grinding uses a grid-type ball mill, and classification uses a spiral classifier. The grinding fineness is 65% passing -200 mesh.
Concentrate and Tailings Dewatering Stage: A thickening and filtration dewatering process is used, resulting in a final concentrate with less than 20% moisture content. The tailings use a dry stacking process, resulting in a final tailings with less than 20% moisture content.
Concentrate Drying Stage: The fluorite concentrate needs to be dried. Based on the actual site conditions, the second-phase drying system is renovated and expanded within the first-phase drying workshop. During drying, an indirect rotary dryer is used. The dried product is discharged into the existing screw conveyor and transported to the packaging and pneumatic conveying system.
