Customer Case Details

With the increasing depth of ore mining, the mining company found that the original 300 t/d silver ore cyanidation plant was gradually becoming unsuitable for current beneficiation needs. The mining company decided to build a new plant and renovate the existing one. The metal minerals in the ore of this project are native silver, pyrite, limonite, etc.; the gangue minerals are quartz, feldspar, clay minerals, etc. The element available for recovery is silver.

Crushing stage: A two-stage semi-closed circuit crushing process is adopted. Jaw crushers are used for coarse and medium crushing, and cone crushers are used for fine crushing; vibrating screens are used for screening. The crushed product is transported to the original ore bin by belt conveyor, and then loaded onto trucks and transported to the proposed new plant site;


Grinding stage: A two-stage closed-circuit grinding process is adopted. A wet grate-type ball mill is used for the first stage of grinding, a jig is used for gravity separation of the discharge, a shaking table is used for fine separation of the concentrate, and a high-weir single-spiral classifier is used for classification of the gravity separation tailings; a wet overflow-type ball mill is used for the second stage of grinding, and a hydrocyclone group is used for the second stage of classification;


Flotation stage: A one-roughing, three-scavenging, and two-cleaning process is adopted. The concentrate dewatering operation adopts a two-stage mechanical dewatering process. A thickener is used for the first stage of dewatering, and a filter press is used for the second stage of dewatering. The filter cake has a water content of about 20%. The tailings are directly discharged to the original tailings pond, and the return water is recycled;


Plant slurry preparation stage: The slurry preparation system is newly built in the original beneficiation plant, using a grab bucket for ore feeding, and the slurry is prepared in a high-concentration mixing tank, and then processed using the existing grinding and classification system. The overflow from the hydrocyclone is concentrated by a thickener and then sent to the existing leaching system. The leaching time is more than 60 hours, followed by five stages of washing. The pregnant solution is sent for zinc powder replacement smelting, and the tailings are treated and then pumped to the tailings pond.
