The centrifugal concentrator is carried out in the centrifugal force field. When the mineral particles move in a circular motion in the centrifugal force field, the centrifugal force generated is related to the quality of the mineral, the radius of the centrifuge drum, and the linear speed (or angular velocity) of the centrifuge operation. The centrifugal acceleration of the minerals in the centrifuge is several times that of the general gravity chute, which can greatly accelerate the sedimentation speed of the mineral particles.
The main parts of gold concentrator includes feeding pipe, drain pan, main shaft, spring, motor, tailing discharge mouth, belt. high-speed pin create power centrifugal force, in the process of gravity separation, light material would be discharged, gold gathers. Nowadays, the centrifugal concentrator is widely used for the recovery of gold, tungsten, lead, manganese, iron, etc.
Gold centrifugal concentrator is useful in the gold recovery in all ranges of particle size. It is most especially useful for recovering fine gold which gets lost during the operation of gravity concentrators.
The application has shown that the recovery of gold can be very high, as much as 99% and the concentration ratio is up to 1,000 times. In the recovery of natural gold in lode ore that has a particle size of -0.074mm, the gold recovered is about 98%, for recovery of gold in a particle size of 0.004mm, it is up to 97%.
